I confess

Yesterday was one of those days that received a "mark all as read" click. A highlight and "delete all" (after they were read of course) to emails. Sometimes I just have those moments where I get over whelmed by the little numbers next to everything. And those red notification dots - forget it. Those have to go as quickly as they arrive!

Since we're one week into 2014 I think it's time for some confessions.

I confess...I have already broken some of my New Years resolutions. I swear sugar is just a evil little woman on my shoulder telling me to enjoy her all the time.

I confess...I never did a Christmas post because I was too lazy to upload the photos off my DSLR.

I confess...I bought this and I can't for the life of me figure out how to use it.

I confess...real estate is getting me down. David and I are hoping to buy this year and home prices like this for a dump are downright discouraging. (Granted this is in a pricier neighborhood but still! 2 bedrooms, 1 bath!)

I confess...I watched Into The Blue on Sunday and still can't get over the loss of Paul Walker.
(So he had a flaw...he was a Dodger fan)

  1. You're hilarious! I too get overwhelmed if I have tons of unread emails. I don't feel content until they're either all read or gone. The real estate is insane where you live! How do they expect ppl to afford anything?! I always randomly think about Paul Walker and still can't believe he's gone. Such a horrible way to go!

  2. Oh my gosh - that real-estate market would get me down too lady! 700k for a dump 2b 1bth??
Is there a youtube tutorial video you can maybe watch to help with the camera lightscoop thing?
So crazy - I just said to Aaron the other day that I wanted to watch Into the Blue! (we were watching Fantastic 4 and I remembered it cuz of J. Alba) :)

  3. Clearing out your email is one of the best feelings ever! And I'm totally with you on the notifications on your phone.. I have to get rid of those ASAP or they give me anxiety!

  4. Geeshh! Those home prices are NUTS! And I thought that $230K for a brand new 3 bedroom, 2 bath house with only 1800 square feet was crazy! (Psst... We're hoping to buy a home this year too so I'm constantly checking out the market!)

    Best of luck friend!

  5. Awe, don't be discouraged. Did you know that the first Monday of the month is the most depressing. It sure hit me like a pile of bricks, that means better days are sure to come! I still can't believe Paul Walker is gone either. Soo sad! Good luck girl!

  6. I still can't believe that he's gone either. I'm still in denial!
$750k for a 2-bedroom, 1 house????? THAT IS NUTS!! I'm sure it will turn around and you guys will find a great house that you've been waiting for. Just be patient and have faith :)

  7. This is exactly why we moved to Texas :( We lived in South City, behind the hill that says SSF The industrial city off 101. The neighborhood was awful! I mean it was no Oakland or EPA but still. Drugs, gun shots, prostitution rings. The house we lived in sold for over $600,000!!! Insane.

I had this huge crush on a coworker years ago, my mom forbid me to date him. He was a Dodger fan. #orange&black.

  9. That's the most expensive two bedroom house I've ever seen in my entire life. I hope it comes with $500,000 stashed in the closet of bedroom #1. You will find something perfect :) Good things come in time!

  10. Eeek!!! That is SO MUCH money for the space. Gosh! I guess there are some plusses to living in a "not so cool" part of the country. I totally hit mark all as read yesterday too. The number of unread blog posts gave me some serious anxiety!

  11. I am so overwhelmed by my inbox too! I need to just give myself an afternoon on the weekend to clean it up. Once of my resolutions is to be better about responding to comments right away! It's so crazy how expensive houses are here. I feel like we're never going to be able to buy something in the bay area, especially in the city! Also, I love what you've done with his Dodger hat! My sister and brother in law are dodger fans, I am trying to make sure my nephew grows up a Giants fan despite his parents wishes! haha

  12. Could not agree more that home prices are discouraging!! Boston is not quite as expensive as the San Fran market, but we're definitely sky high too!! I'm not sure i'd know how to use that device either...womp womp!

  15. I hate those little red notifications too. Sometimes I just delete an app or even just slide it over to the furthest screen possible! That is completely insane about the real estate price. I can't even imagine!!!!
