Welcome to Miami

By time you all read this I am going to be boarding or mid flight to Miami! It's a short work trip but a king size bed and large tub are calling my name! I am going to try and post Thursday and Friday but I am not sure what our itinerary involves.

Can't complain about dinner and drinks on the company dollar! We are headed to:
Yardbird
UMami Burger
&
Barton G

Ever been to any? Anything I must order? Also what on earth am I going to wear? I don't have to wear suits - thank goodness because I own a total of ZERO. It's only three days but I want to look cute and put together. I've only been to Florida once. Is the humidity going to spell disaster for my tresses?

If you follow me on Instagram (@laurapark3r) I hope to be uploading obnoxious photos of clear ocean water and good eats!
(Disclaimer: This is Maui.)

  6. Don't worry about the humidity, it's not that bad this time of year ;-)

The weather here has been wonky lately... it was 80 yesterday and 50 today. So, bring warm weather clothes, but cardigans or something to layer over them in case you get chilly. Have an amazing trip!

  16. I'm from Fort Lauderdale, so I know Miami VERY well. I'm sure you've already got a handle on things, so just make sure you get a Margarita or Mojito the size of your head, and visit the Art District if you can. Have fun!

  17. i hope all goes well with your flights, sugar! my mama has been stuck (i use the term "stuck" very loosely here) in west palm (an hour north of miami) since tuesday and they've canceled flights back until saturday! if you get stranded there, call my mom - she would looooove an adopted daughter for a few days!!

  18. I love Miami! It's an amazing city! Make sure to check out swimsuits there... I noticed they always had really cute, different suits from where I am from in Cali!
