Scenes from the Weekend

This weekend we celebrated my brother and sister in laws newest bundle coming in May. I am so excited to get my first niece! I wish I had a photo of David and I but he wasn't feeling too well so I have tried to stay away from him haha. Got to keep mini healthy!
She was showered with so many goodies and goodness do those little outfits ever get old?

Sunday I headed to the outlets with my mom for a girls day. This was the first time I skipped all the me stores and just did baby stores. My mom thoroughly spoiled the little miss and I am excited to see it all come in use soon! Unfortunately they didn't have much at the Restoration Hardware outlet for babies but that is fortunate for my wallet!

Now I am winding down watching (and loving) Resurrection. I was crying within the first five minutes. Pregnancy hormones are no joke! Hope you all had a great weekend!

PS What is up with everyone hating on Daylight Savings? I love it being lighter longer!

  2. Aw... we hit up some outlets this weekend too. Not as good as ones in the states, but they'll do for now. :) Love your outfit to the shower, btw!

  3. You looked so pretty at your sister in laws baby shower - two super cute pregnant ladies!! I seriously don't hate that we get more daylight now - but waking up this morning with your body thinking it was an hour earlier...was a little rough!

  4. Aren't outlets the best! Also, I have Resurrection recorded on my DVR. I thought it looked interesting since it came on before the best show ever - I am so excited REVENGE is back. Glad you liked Resurrection, I can't wait to watch it tonight!

  5. You look so sweet Laura! Sounds like an awesome time. I actually LOVE that it's lighter longer, but Daylight Savings is a real pain when you have kids. Just for future reference. Just when you think you have a good sleep schedule down! Blah! But here's a tip: try to stick with your same schedule at least around the same time. Phoenix usually goes to sleep at 7:00, but he was in bed last night at 7:15. Mila is usually 7:30, she was in bed at 8. The sooner you can adjust them to it being lighter when they go to bed the better for everyone! There...parenting tip of the day. ;)

  15. You are too cute, I love your outfit! Great picture of you! I love daylight savings, I have the hardest time waking up in the dark and then getting home from work when it's dark. It makes me feel like my entire life is spent at work. It's nice to be able to go for walks or runs outside in the evening. It always takes some getting used to, but I LOVE the longer days :)

  16. What a cute picture of the two mamas-to-be. Love longer days, HATE losing sleep. And will blame it vehemently on DST that I am tired for a week ha.

  17. Yea, you will do that--- replace your spending with spending for the mini. :)

  20. Glad you had a good weekend! And no kidding on the daylight savings thing! It is unfortunate for the one day we lose sleep, but it's glorious for the 4 months it stays lighter longer!
