20 weeks - hello halfway!!

How Far Along: 20 weeks, 3 days
Mini is the size of a: banana and we know she is already clocking in at 12 oz. as of last week!
Maternity Clothes: yes and no
Stretch Marks: nope, nada, stay the hell away!
Sleep: Good!
Symptoms: heartburn
Best Moment of the Week: Seeing Book of Morman in LA with  my sister. So much fun and during the first half little miss was dancing away during the musical numbers!
Movement: Yes and I LOVE it!! David got to feel her move for the first time on Monday night and my sister got to feel her as well. Pretty special. She is most active when I am flat on my back in the evenings.
Cravings: Poptarts - ever since Lindsey mentioned them in a blog post they have become sort of a weekly ritual. Cold of course.
Gender: GIRL
Belly Button In or Out: In
Wedding Ring on or Off: On
Anything Making You Queasy or Sick: Nope!
What I Miss: As always sunnyside up eggs...
What I am Looking Forward to: going to the antique faire this Sunday. I also started crafting some items for the nursery.
Labor Signs: Let's hope this is a no for about 18 more weeks.
Nursery: Items are beginning to accumulate! I crafted a sign for the nursery and we also added more clothes to her growing collection - go figure.
Emotions:  Pretty good. When we went to visit my sister in LA David noticed my family pet's dog collar hanging by the door. He showed it to me and I totally cried. Also watched Up with  my nephews and had to fast forward - no way was I watching Ellie die!

Our 20 week ultrasound went really well. Mini is still a girl - thank goodness!!! Everything is measuring and looking perfect! We got to catch a small glimpse of her face and see her nose and mouth and they look just beautiful. Next appointment is the dreaded glucose test...womp,womp. Definitely will be skipping my poptart that week!

  6. I can't believe you're already halfway! Time flies. I want to see Book of Mormon so badly...my maternal Grandma is from Utah and I have a huge Mormon family out there, so I think I'd be especially amused.

  7. You look great!! Yay for the halfway mark!! I loved the second half of pregnancy and felt it went by much faster than the first half. I'm still dying to see Book of Mormon- we keep missing tickets when it comes here.

  15. I had that same feeling at 20 where I thought it is still a girl, yay! ... because I was a little skeptical that they could tell as early on as 14-15 weeks when they told me. :) You are almost there! Good job you little incubator! :)
