Tooth Woes

I have to say thank goodness we cannot remember what getting teeth feels like. I can only imagine it's painful (those suckers are sharp!) and sometimes they make my usually sweet baby pretty fussy. Worst part is this is only one - goodness how many teeth do baby even get? Any good tips for soothing sore gums throw them at me. Because that baby that slept through the night (you know all of the TWO times she has done it) yeah she is way over that.

Send coffee.

  1. I feel your pain. My baby slept through the night (for 3 months) until the teeth started coming in. Any mom who complains that teeth aren't coming in yet, I say enjoy this time cause teething sucks! I could keep him happy and distracted during the day with teething toys but never found a real cure at night. Hopefully someone else will have a great suggestion!

  6. A Baltic Amber necklace (the lighter the better) has been our saving grace. Our little guy has been drooling SO much and wants to bite on everything but hasn't been too fussy or uncomfortable otherwise!

  7. Teething is the worst! We actually broke down and did a small dose of Tylenol one night and we all managed some rest. Probably against what some Mommas would do but they weren't awake with a baby with blood curdling screams. It was the only thing that worked for us ... and coffee. Lots and lots of coffee for this Momma. Good Luck, I hope you find something that works for you and P. I'll be thinking of y'all.

  8. No magical solutions here! But I feel your pain (literally)... Liam's last molar just popped through this week! Nearly 2.5 years of teething, ugh!

  9. Ouch ouch! It is most definitely a rough time for baby AND mama! Hang in there! Now all I hear are comments about how many teeth K have and how much older they make her look.

  10. Do you have those mesh feeding things that you can put frozen food and ice cubes in? Clara likes those. She has seven teeth so far and I swear it keeps getting worse and worse with each one! (Sorry, that's not very optimistic for you...)
