Valentine's with Minted

Full disclaimer: This post is sponsored by Minted. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Thank you for supporting brands that support Happily Ever Parker.

Just one of the many reason's I am so excited for P to start school is to hand out Valentine's. I still remember so well picking out my favorites and being so excited to hand them out (and receive them!) Creating your valentine chair backer or box was all part of the fun - candy an added bonus.

Since school won't happen for P until September we decided to make some Valentine's at home to join in on the festivities. I mean anything that involves a marker is an activity she wants to do - even if I have to chase her around reminding her to cap each and every pen.

love & dog sign (DIY wedding present // little artist shelf // I love you art // valentine banner

I love incorporating little touches of the holiday's into P's room (I know this is nothing revolutionary) so when Minted reached out to team up I knew exactly what I wanted to share. I've had my eye on this I Love You That Is All Foil-Stamped Wall Art for some time now (true story I blogged about it last Valentine's!) pair that with the Little Artist shelf and I had the perfect place to hang her first little Valentine's masterpiece.

All the wood framing in her room is made by David so I was pretty excited to see that they had white wash as an option. It's a perfect match and I can change out the art and decorations on it easily. If you're looking for some cute Valentine's decor or cards head over to Minted, all foil pressed Valentine cards and gifts are 20% off until 1/30 11:59PM with the code BEMINE.

Also don't mind the art under the little artist shelf - P took it upon herself to draw all over the wall! #reallife

Sweet Valentine

Ever since becoming a mama holidays are so much more fun. The older P gets the more she will begin to understand and celebrate and Valentine's is no exception. I loved Valentine's in grade school and actually still have some Valentine's from back then! I've started putting together a little basket for P to open on the 14th, nothing too crazy but since it falls on the weekend I wanted to celebrate it with her.

However if I was sending her to school with a little note for her classmates I would love one of these sweet valentine's from Minted. Is there anything Minted can't do right? I adore how these come in different shape options at no extra cost.

My Deer
No Lion
A Bunch of Flowers
Donuts About You
Did you save valentine's from elementary school? I would always stuff mine with conversation hearts and I would spend so long picking out what hearts should go to who. What can I say I was boy crazy from the beginning!

Spreading Cheer with Minted

One of my favorite parts of the holidays is sending and receiving holiday cards. Whether it is a photo card or a handwritten note, they are all my favorite. While there are many options to choose from for each special occasion I continually depend on Minted to help me spread the cheer.

Of course design is the most important element to choose from (of which they have hundreds!) but it is the address assistant that really has my heart.  It makes me feel so much more organized than I really am and I actually use it year round to help me pull up addresses. Lazy people of the world rejoice! (did I mention it's FREE?!)
This year we stuck with our photo shoot theme and went pretty traditional with red & green. As someone who tends to stick to neutrals it was a nice change for this year and I adore how it turned out.  Easily my favorite card yet! We have received so many gorgeous foil cards this year that I have been swayed to the other side...next year that is! This years card is the simply happy holidays card - quite fitting with that big old grin!
These were some other cards that were contenders this year

merry holiday photo cards
family album photo cards
cherry merry foil-pressed holiday cards
As you can see only P made the holiday card this year. That's because David is vey anti photos - boo him. So every other year he gets out of the card. Next year won't be so easy buddy!

*I received a credit towards my holiday cards as being a part of the Savvy Sassy Moms Products Scouts. Always and forever the opinions expressed here are 100% my own.

Floral First Birthday Invitations

I have been so excited to share how P's first birthday invitations turned out. What I wasn't prepared for was the post office to really have a field day with them. I made sure to pop these babies into the mail right before I left for vacation, giving people ample time to RSVP.

The morning we were leaving for Trinity I received five back in the mail. FIVE. Torn up & postmarked backwards. I would be completely lying if I said I didn't cry. I thought they were soon going to all be returned to me. I was in essence having a full blown shit fit/pity party.

Pity Party of one mind you, Presley nor David seemed to think it a big a deal as I did.

Happily I can say that when we returned from our week long vacation most people had eventually received their cards. Sure they were looking a little worse for wear but they (for the most part) reached the intended recipient.

As most of you know her first birthday is a floral fete (inspired by Rifle Paper Co.). So when I discovered the Floral Bough Birth Announcement pattern on Minted's website (c/o) I knew there had to be a way I could finagle it from baby announcement to first birthday.

Did you know you can do this to many of their designs? Really makes the options all the more available! What I specifically loved about this design was the custom envelope addressing with matching floral bough.

So once I had created a birthday invitation I continued to peruse the site. Again turning non birthday items into birthday items. I used that craft flag sticker that say "Presley is One" to seal all the envelopes (which may be how they got so destroyed at USPS). This one in particular is a custom wedding sticker.

I also selected a custom liner - which was a cinch to install - and backer option to the invitation. As usual I am always impressed with the quality of Minted and I love how easy it is to really customize. I even prepared early and selected matching thank you cards!

Some other fun floral options I considered

Garden Wreath
Floral Three

Invitations were supplied to me c/o Minted, however all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

Spring Forward with Minted

I think one of the first things that makes you feel like an adult is your first purchase of artwork. And while I have yet to take the plunge on anything super large for our home I love to browse Minted for unique pieces. I recently purchased this for Presley's nursery as I seem to be constantly changing out her artwork. I mean how could I not rush to frame some of the images from our Lifestyle Shoot with the amazing Meg Sexton?

I know I tout Minted on my blog a lot but another great thing about them is that I can pretty much customize the text to be whatever I like. For example below is what I had printed and below this image is what originally appeared on the website. Plus I so bought that adorable herringbone frame to go with it!
Stages Art Print

Now that we recently have redone our bathroom (photos to come!) I am looking for a fun print to hang in there. Since I bought this adorable shower curtain after Christmas, the print needs a mixture of light pink, white & gray. Without being too girly...

Flora in Peach 1
 Ligurian Houses
I could also always upload my own image and have it turned into artwork. I mean I wouldn't mind staring at this adorableness...
Use code HAPPYSPRING for 15% off site wide but hurry, ends Monday, March 16th!

When it comes to selecting what cards to send out to friends and family there are a ton of options to choose from and it can be overwhelming. Without fail I always choose Minted - and half of the reason is because of their awesome free address printing. Anything that saves me time nowadays is right up my ally.
We selected Minted for Presley's birth announcements and I love how they turned out!
For the holidays we will be choosing Minted again, the question is what card? There are so many great ones to choose from I was literally browsing Minted over the course of two days! (So much for that whole "saving time" concept!) These are some of my favorites
These ornament cards are also a fun and unique idea!
As always the foil prints are a favorite
How cute would these be for a pregnancy announcement? 2 could be the mom, 0 could be dad/partner, 1 could be dog/child, 5 the ultrasound! This is a part of the Petite line
The best part? Minted and Happily Ever Parker have teamed up to offer a $200 credit to one lucky reader! Giveaway will run until December 4th with the winner announced Friday, December 5th! Good Luck!

Minted Save the Dates

Even though I got married in 2012 and had Pinterest around for inspiration (thank goodness)! I often think about things I would change or do over about our wedding. One of the things that I took a great pride in was selecting the save the dates and wedding invitations. I know most people will throw them into the trash but I would hold onto it forever.

Minted recently contacted me about their newest line of save the dates for 2014 and let me say they are pretty as can be! Minted never ceases to amaze me with all the talented illustrators that submit art to the site.

If you are looking for gorgeous save the dates I suggest you check out their selection here.
Below are just a few of my favorites!

You've Got Mail

Since I was ahead of the game and ordered my holiday cards from Minted in October. I was able to have them signed, sealed and delivered on Monday. Getting David to take pictures is like pulling teeth, so as much as I want to wrap myself in a blanket for a cute photoshoot he probably wouldn't consent.

This is my favorite photo we took all year - you saw them on this post. So we I decided to play off our one year anniversary cake for the theme this year.

This is not a sponsored post - Minted just really is the best!

Are you ahead of the game and popped yours into the mail yet?
