Five on Friday

Alright it's time for a baby break and onto birthday talk...because as of yesterday the big 3-1 is a mere 30 days away. Which also coincides with the first day of Spring! So in case David wants to stumble upon my blog here are five things I wouldn't mind opening on March 20th

one

Annabel Ingall large tote in Storm

I really don't want a traditional baby bag and I think a tote will be more my style. Plus it looks like a can cram a lot of crap into this bag. For organizational purposes I would get one of these.

two

A day on the Skunk Train
It rides through 40 miles in Mendocino and we always talk about it but have never done it. I also just discovered that Finn can go with us as dog's are permitted with a small fee!

three

Kendra Scott Abalone Tassel Pendant Necklace
Love this necklace and the colors! David goes abalone diving (abalone is so delicious!) so I think he would really appreciate this piece of jewelry. Hmm I may need to gift it to myself!

four

A day at Safari West
I have tried to go here again and again for my birthday but it's usually raining. Since an African Safari is #1 on my bucket list this is the closest I can get for now! It's only two hours away from my house so much more plausible!

five

I am just dying to know if mini is a he or she? What's your guess?!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Linking up with Liz and all the other lovelies!

  1. I totally agree that a tote might be the way to go and you can use it into their toddler days as well!! The Safari sounds like it would be a blast!! My guess is a boy....but who knows, I'm never good at this!! Happy weekend!

  2. I'm thinking mini might be a little princess! It seems like EVERYONE is having boys right now, so maybe you will be the change up?! Have a great weekend!

  3. Check out the Kate Spade diaper bags...they look just like regular purses and have all of the compartments and built in changing pad of a tradition diaper bag...I snagged an all black one that def looks like a regular bag! xo

  6. I'm saying girl, I feel like 2013 was the year of boys and 2014 is the year of girls! Something about that sonogram just says girl to me. Also I suggest getting a diaper bag for the early months when they're really messy and unpredictable- trust me you don't want baby spit up or a diaper explosion in that gorgeous bag. Once you cross the 6 month mark I say it's safe to start using fun fancy handbags again because they are much more predictable :)

  9. I'm crossing my fingers you get ALL of these! I still haven't gotten my flowers that I strongly hinted at for Valentine's Day. It's like Tim doesn't even read my blog... sigh.
And an Afrian Safari should be at the top of EVERYONE'S bucket lists! So, so freakin' fun.
And I think boy. I think all ultrasound pics look like boys though, so I'm not that reliable. What are you hoping for?! :-)

  10. I love that tote, I've always thought the same thing, that I'll never carry a traditional baby bag. And I am so bad at guessing baby genders, but I'm going to go with a boy!

  11. I want to say a GIRL. That's my guess...but I might change before your appointment so mine answer is just a maybe for now.
So, the name really threw me off, but the Skunk Train looks like so much fun. I love riding on trains...I wish there were more around So Cal for a more fun way of transportation!

    Happy Friday girl!

  20. Love that tote - I totally did the same thing, couldn't do a typical diaper bag. Plus you basically make the diaper bag your new purse so it better be cute! Hope you had a great weekend!
