Snow Day

We are taking P to the snow for the first time in February and if the snow keeps up like it has in Tahoe, we are all in for a real treat! As a kid growing up we never traveled to the snow, despite being only a three hour drive from Tahoe. I think that's mostly because my parents both grew up in New York and had seen all the snow they wanted to. In turn we became a family of beach goers and always chose warm over cold when it come to family excursions. Evident of where my love of the beach comes from!

I have had fun picking out clothing for P to wear while we bundle up with friends in a couple of weeks. So if you're on the hunt for snow gear for the family I have some cute picks right here! Including that adorable snow all in one - I watched this puppy like a hawk waiting for it to come back in stock. Now that I have P covered that leaves me with not one snow ready thing to wear. Standard.

Loving Lately: Toddler Girl Swimsuits

The problem with planning vacations is then the desire to have a bunch a new stuff for said vacation. While I am trying to discover a swimsuit that will make me thinner it's been way more fun buying them for P. Here is a little roundup of some toddler suits I am loving lately. If only rocking a belly in your thirties was as cute as when you're a toddler!

Loving Lately: H&M

I often get into Baby Gap tunnel vision and forget that other retailers are selling clothing just as adorable. H&M is in my direct footpath home so naturally I had to wander into it (so much for that "shorter commute"). I went in looking for stuff for me and obviously came out with nothing for me and everything for P. Such is life.

If your less body conscious than I head into the store in person. They have some really adorable pieces like this skirt (comes in multiple colors) that just so happened to look better on the hanger rather than on my hips. Oye!

The kids section did not disappoint and now that P can wear their larger clothing sizes there was no holding back. I even snatched up these in light pink to give her at Christmas. How's that for planning ahead?

flats // slip ons // floral headband // star clips

This is not a paid post, I was just literally loving everything!! One day I'll get it together and include you boy mama's too.

Mini Style

It's no secret that my daughter's wardrobe is way cuter and more on trend than my own. I mean on her a love graphic tee would be adorable, on me it would look more like L      O        V         E. Ya feel me? So I will continue to look like a pauper while she looks anything but.

Clearly I am already envisioning warmer weather but in reality I just want more daylight at the end of the day. Can I get an amen to that and some blackout curtains? Yes please.

Have an awesome weekend!

Toddler Girl OOTD

It's no secret that I love to shop but it also should be no surprise that I love a good deal. I very rarely, hardly ever, pay full price for anything. It's a blessing and a curse (thanks mom!). I've put together a little board and every single item is anywhere from 25-50% off! With the holidays coming up I am pinching everywhere I can! There are limited sizes so act fast if you want to swoop something up! These and these are still marked 50% off too!
