Scenes from the Weekend

This weekend was all over the place and it led me to my couch watching Sister Wives - hey it's an upgrade from Honey Boo Boo.
On Saturday morning I started off the day with Dailey Method (go me!). And as much as I love to sleep it felt nice to get my day off to a productive start.  David and I test drove cars. A 2013 4runner and a 2014 Jeep Limited Grand Cherokee. As fun as that was (and getting my hopes up a bit) we walked away with nothing. Need to keep our eye on the prize

Saturday night I headed into San Francisco with some friends from my book club for a ladies night out. My friends had texted me asking if I wanted to join them and I agreed. Well on the way to the city they told me we were headed to a come again?

It wound up being a fun night but clubs are not my scene and we ducked out and headed to a local bar. We were with a group of about 15 girls and actually had a great night. At this point the wine was flowing!

The next morning we went to Mission Rock which is an awesome little spot on the water in the SOMA district. Had a little hair of the dog and then came home.

And now my butt is parked on my couch where it will most likely stay for the rest of the day - hangovers at 30 are no joke!

Hope you all had a lovely weekend!

  1. I was hungover on Saturday and I agree. No good. As for clubs, they've never been my scene either. I went a few times in Vegas but wasn't into it.

  2. Sounds like a fun weekend! Clubs aren't my scene either, but a local bar with the girls is always a good time ;)

  3. Hangovers have become brutal for me, can't drink like I was 21 anymore! I try to avoid ever getting drunk because I hate them so much.

  4. I looove trashy tv. I also can't handle hangovers. Spent all day yesterday on the couch.

  5. aw bummer about the car, I love both those, but yes I'm sure it will all come in due time :) Sneaky of your friends to pull a club on you, ha, but glad you had fun!!

  6. Hope the hangover goes away soon! No shame in Sister Wives- that show is so entertaining!

  7. Clubs aren't my thing either. I have to be pretty wasted to dance but by then I probably shouldn't be dancing! Id much rather go to a bar and have a few drinks and talk. I wanted a 4runner so bad in high scho! I don't even know what they look like now!

  8. bummer about not getting a car but a house is way better!!!!!!!! :)
I am not a fan of clubs either - is that a sign of getting old?! I love Sister Wives - no shame!

  9. Hangovers only get worse as you age - trust me on this one!
Car shopping is fun but house shopping is even more exciting!

  10. i feel like my hangovers have doubled in length over the past few years! wahhh!

wanna swap buttons!? i love you blog so much - i'm stealing a button for my sidebar ;) xoxoxo
